For young people, aged 11 to 25, we have a number of different services. These include recovery-focused individual support, self-management courses, peer mentor support, and individual support for young people undergoing transitions (such as changing schools, starting college, or moving to adult mental health services).

A Changing Minds Guide to Lifting Up in Lock Down
Our Changing Minds team and young volunteers have put together a resource filled with self-guided activities and information to help young people maintain their emotional and mental resilience during this period of social isolation. The following sections are included:

Changing Minds Project
We provide support for young people aged 16-25 in Newport who are experiencing mental health difficulties. Changing Minds offers young people the opportunity to access 1:1 support for those undergoing transitions, self-management courses and support from a peer mentor.

Please note that due to recent changes in our funding, from 1 April 2019 Changing Minds will only be available to 16-25 year olds living in Newport. If you live outside of Newport, please contact your local Mind.
