Children, Young People and Family services

Changing Minds is a collection of projects for children, young people and families at Newport Mind. We know 1 in 10 young people experience a mental health disorder and that roughly 20% of young people will have a mental health problem in any given year.

Being young can be a challenging time and more so when you are experiencing mental health problems. The projects that form Changing Minds have been designed to give children, young people and families the opportunity to access support earlier and improve their confidence and ability to lead full and active lives.
